Happy Halloween 2013!!!

For Halloween we worked on Skeletons in Grade 3. We used Q-tips to make lots and lots of "bones" - with great success! 

 

The Halloween Art Competition for Grade 4 this year was on the theme of Witches and the results were fantastic! The children worked in groups of 3 or 4 to create their witches. Congratulations to the winners: Robert Berneda, Helena Picart and Paula Huertas.

BIRDIES!

Hi there!
In 5th grade B we have been learning how to draw and paint birds with watercolours. It wasn't easy, but the results were great and we also learnt the name of some birds in both, English and Catalan!
We hope you enjoy the pictures!

A Paper Maché Menagerie

Our School Project on Storybook Characters led boys and girls from Grade 3 to work on the famous Tintin comic series so we decided to look for all the animals we could find in a collection of Tintin adventures. The children each chose an animal they liked from the list, made a drawing of it and finally made a paper maché figure of it as well. Here are the children from Grade 3A talking about their animals!

The stars of the show are the boys and girls from Grade 4 with the wonderful spoon puppets they made to act out the famous legend of the drummer of El Bruc. Bravo!
